How We Evaluate Fleet Platforms

Who operates this site

Track What Matters is operated by GPS Insight, Inc. GPS Insight sells fleet tracking and field service software under the GPS Insight, ServiceBridge and Rhino Fleet Tracking brands. Those products are compared on this site alongside competing platforms, and every page that carries a recommendation says so above the recommendation, not below it.

We do not accept payment from any vendor for placement, ranking or inclusion. When a comparison concludes that a competitor is the better fit, we say so — there are pages on this site that recommend against our own products. More about who we are.

How platforms get included

A platform is included when it meets all four of these:

• It sells to commercial fleets in the United States.
• It publishes enough product detail to be described accurately without guessing.
• It appears in real buyer shortlists — searched for, or named to us by operators.
• It is currently trading and supporting customers.

Exclusion is not a verdict. Some strong platforms are missing simply because we have not written them up yet.

Where the data comes from

Our comparison data is compiled from vendor documentation, published pricing pages, FMCSA registration records, press releases and SEC filings — not from review aggregators, competitor comparison sites, or prior assumptions. We do not run hands-on tests of every platform we compare. Where a specification cannot be traced to a source we can point at, the cell reads Not published rather than a number we assumed.

What "Not published" means

Most fleet platforms do not publish pricing, and not every capability is documented for every vendor. Where a vendor has not published something we could verify, our tables say Not published. They do not say "Contact sales," they do not carry an estimate, and they do not carry a range we inferred from a third-party review. If you have a current quote or documentation that resolves one of these, send it to us.

How often we re-check

Pricing and feature data on comparison, pricing and best-of pages is re-verified on an ongoing basis as we work through each vendor. Pages carry the date their comparison data was last verified, and that date changes only when the underlying data actually changed — we don't bump dates to look fresh.
